alright, as you know, my set up is 6500d mtx amp. 2 jlw6v2 10"s are those amps gonna run more power, r they worth it, or r they like the new rockford line, all mad overrated and push ****hole for power, i work at best buy so i can get those amps for mad cheap, so price is half of what it says, but r they worth it? can you guys give break downs on power acoustik, i have been in audio and i am not a big fan of there **** at all, but i have never seen those amps, so i'm not sure, thanks alot

you'd be better off with your 6500d amp. Power acoustik is OKAY...but they are extremely overrated...notice the rms ratings on all of those amps! and then look at the price. what am i talking about, those prices are highway robbery and personally i think power acoustik sux, another flea market brand IMO. even at half the price, stick with ur mtx...it's much better. good luck, peace

how much does the MTX push? what's the reccommended RMS for the JL subs?

if you insist on gettin another amp, we can prob help you out better, also what's ur budget? soem ppl like power acoustics, others dont. personal choice, but haven't seen many ppl running their amps, so it must mean something.

you can look at the 1000 watt amplifier thread under amplifiers. again, i dunno how much the JLs can take, and @ wat impedance do u have them wire at?
