I just hooked mine up and no matter what I cant get any output on ch 3 and 4.

On the speaker terminals it shows the top ones as ch 3 and 4... So I have the sub bridged at 8ohm on those, and a 4ohm speaker on each front channel. Theres also 6 RCA connections... A pair for ch 1 and 2, a pair for ch 3 and 4, and a pair for output/mono mix. Ive looked at the manual and showed about 4 other people who have been into car audio for years and years and years and they cant get it to play in 3ch mode either.

Any ideas?

they are weird *** amps dude.. I have one and its just very odd.. the 4 channel/2 channel switch is odd.. like idk what it does cause I have had to move rcas all over the place to get it right.. its not a normal amp

Yeah, the manual doesnt have the right picture. Its not the same as the amp. They work great for highs, but I just CANT get it to play highs and a sub. Any idea how I can get it to do it? Any chance you can take pics of the way yours is wired and set up?

I just have it for my mids I did It as a 4channel for two mids but bridged it.. I can't get to it any time soon.. its under passenger seat and the settings and rcas are towards the center console.. we just moved and tools are packed away.. its probably bridged backwards.. try like channels 2/4 1/3 and 2/3 1/4 for channels..?

when you set it in two channel mode it smushed all the music to both left and right.. like left speaker played both left and right as did right channel.. with the rcas done correctly so something is off..

I helped a guy put a system together with the dsc4125. He has a pair of CDT components on the front channels and a 12" MB Quart RWE sub bridged on the rears. That install went through with no trouble and I literally walked the guy through some of it via pm's.

Maybe there is something wrong with yours, man...

I have this amp too and it sure is a pain in the axx. Whats good about it is that whenever i have it in the 4ch mode, i can hiss in my system. I dont know why this is. So I have it in the 2 ch mode. This amp also gets very hot. What i hste about it also is the crossover thats built in. Its like its not good anough to go active and its a pain to tune when you are using the passive crossover.

When you are in ch2 mode, all channels gets the signal from ch 1 and 2. meaning you dont have to hook up the rca to ch 3 and 4.

in DUPE mode.ch 1 and 2 mirros the setting of ch 3 and 4. so however you set the crossover on 3 and 4, 1 and 2 will be the same.

This is the second one Ive owned that I just cant get to do it. Im obviously doing something wrong, but Ive ran Sundown 100.4s and Crescendo 1000C4s in 4ch no problem. I set the amp to what would be the logical way to hook it up and it just doesnt work.

you should be able to do that, but you have to set it to 4 CH MODE and run 2 sets of rca. tomorrow i will check it out. I am running both front and rear speakers and they play the way they should depending on how i set it up.
