Camp T Rex sm 1-2 car, revisited

Okay got some new pics.

Plenty more to come later.

As you can see, my old 7 1/4 blade was reallll rusty.

And old.

I think at least 10 years old, but ive used it on everything so far.

And the saw itself is old, but if it aint broke dont fix it, so I still use it.

The first layer of the floor is in, just gotta screw it down more.

Okay.

This thread seems to be completely dead, but I may put more pics up tomorrow.

The whole interior will be done, as well as the 6+ and 6- runs of 1/0 from the battery to the back. Maybe a test baffle as well.

And I just found out that circular saw is like 20 years old.

Its a **** good one too.

Dead? are you kidding i love this thread.

First of many more updates for this thread today.

Im putting the first side layers on at them moment, and the corner ones.

Heres what I did up to that point.

I made it so the sides sit exactly flush with the front by adding an extra brace at the ends, now it has support everywhere.

I wish I could be going faster, but Im doing everything by myself, even putting the mdf sheets on the sawhorses to cut, which is a pita.

Layer 1 of 3 on the passenger side wall is in.

This is a great straight edge btw. Just as effective as using a table saw, and at much less of the cost.

And you can see, its perfectly flush.

And sometimes I had trouble finding the braces in the middle of the vertical 2x4s, so thats why you see some extra holes.
