Try doing a Parrot Bluetooth Device in that same car....you want to be successful you have to steer away from doing just subwoofer installs and look at factory integration. And doing subs in that car is easy, EVRYTHING you need is in the trunk...battery, signal, remote (maybe not), and obviously ground.I will go to school and work in a shop before doing this, but I have done a lot of installs myself already including my 2006 mercedes c230, and trust me its not easy putting 2 15's in my car. The shops said they couldn't do it, and I did. That tells you something.
that just made me lawlz hardYou have a great personality to bring great customer service...

not saying im special bro, but I will have other experienced people working with me, hell I wont even be working at the shop half the time, ill be at school. Ill have trust worthy knowledgeable employees. I have family members that have also been doing this stuff for many years. You have to stop bringing daddy into this. He won't be there when you can't install a parrot bluetooth in a 1979 cadillac deville or when you spend hours trying to find the speed sensor wire in a 2005 Corvette for the navi. You're not the only one who has parents who can invest big guy so drop the I'm special act. He may help you open it but it's on you to struggle through all the installs. If you're installs arent top notch, your rep is going to drop hard and business will end.
It might tell us that your local shops just **** that much, which is certainly possible. Or just as likely, it might be telling us that you stuffed a pair of 15's into too small of an enclosure. Who knows. But I do know you need more of a resume than that to really get a feel for the industry, and the trade.I will go to school and work in a shop before doing this, but I have done a lot of installs myself already including my 2006 mercedes c230, and trust me its not easy putting 2 15's in my car. EVERY shop wishes they had those people...generally car audio does not breed people like this.not saying im special bro, but I will have other experienced people working with me, hell I wont even be working at the shop half the time, ill be at school. he owns a couple strip clubs in the orlando and daytona area lol.I like the enthusiasm and entrepreneurial spirit, but as others have said, the car audio shop is losing momentum due to economy, internet sales, DIY'ers and basically new car mfgs putting decent systems with nav in them from the start... I suggest going to fabrication school, or possibly interning as a cabinet maker, or both since you are young and seems that dad has cash flow...
You are young and time is on your side...if you really want to open up a money making business start up an adult film/internet company or start up a strip club, allot of money in those areas, takes virtually no schooling and there is an ever abundant supply of hott skanks looking to rub their *** on your lap for a buck or take it in the *** for a couple G's...

I defiantly will try to get as much exp as possible before making a serios decision.EVERY shop wishes they had those people...generally car audio does not breed people like this.
It is VERY hard to find a good salesman, and VERY hard to find a good installer that will stick around for awhile and not want to open his own shop. I used to want to open my own shop and I realized I just don't want the headache...and after installing professionally for awhile you get sick of the same BS every day...
And to run your own car audio busniness you have to be there every day...especially when new.
If you think you can do it, go ahead but my suggestion again: Work in a shop for as long as you can, get a ton of experience, go to the school if you want, and then decide if a shop is right for you. The schools are REALLY good for fabrication but not good for learning the stuff you can only get while installing.

then what the **** are you doing wanting to go to CA school, go to pimp school and go recruiting for new talent...Hell be the liaison to **** stars or go to bar tending school in a couple years...Go to web design school and start a website, back room in the strip club or ???he owns a couple strip clubs in the orlando and daytona area lol.
