C2 Audio Dethcon subwoofers

How good are the Threathcon 2 and Threathcon 4 subwoofers? Sound quality, spl and deep sound? I hear good things but I want the opinions of this board. Are they comparable to Jl 12W6s? Alpine Rs? Power series Rockford Fosgate?

What kind of spl are we talking about for Threatcon 2 either tens or twelves in a ported box in a 02 ***** Am?

I would take a JL W6 over any C2 product so far. That's just me, verdict is far from out on the 4

Never said louder I'm just saying if I was able to get a C2 Deatchon 2 or 4 or W6 for free I'll take the W6

But that Deathcon 4 is substantially cheaper than a 12w6. I guess you can say the

Thretcon has way more bang for the buck. And I do realize that. JL is very very good but very very pricy. I mean If I were a millionare I would probably have two 13Ws sitting in the back but I would probably be driving a ZL1 Camaro or a Custom Dodge Challenger too.

Threatcon....and the Threatcon 4 is pretty beast. Biggest thing is you are comparing a $300 MSRP woofer to a $600 MSRP woofer.... And the Threatcon 4 isn't out yet so only Chris has hands on experience with it. But after such a successful Threatcon 2 experience I've got a Threatcon 4 on my list to have.

Never said he had a budget he asked which is best. The W6 doesn't compare to any sub mentioned in this thread. Yes the C2 is good....for the money you pay. So you want cheap and loud go C2s you want more of a SQ set up go with JLs. W6s can get surprisingly loud on 1k each trust me and they sound hella better

this is w6, danger zone at 500 watts, threatcon 2 is laughing at 500w and threatcon 4 is a 1200w sub

W6 is a great all around driver for sure. One of the better ones on the market to be honest, but it is not a 1k driver by any means.
