I only saw it becasue it was in a quote, and I clicked view this post for this one, you can go back on my ignore list, you ignorant redneck. And this is coming from a WV who sees rednecks on a day to day basis.

Bye dumbass

I read a bit of it because RE_XXX makes me laugh. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

what is with all of the hate on American cars? It seems like a lot of people in here think that if it's american it's automatically a POS. That is the farthest thing away from the truth.
The big mistake the Big 3 made is to focus so much on SUV's and Trucks. If they would have put more focus on cars before the whole fuel crisis thing, i bet they wouldn't be in AS much trouble.

Go drive some of Chevy's new cars/trucks and tell me they're shitty. the new malibu is actually a pretty nice car. the new suburbans and tahoes are amazing IMO.

i'm also not just an American car company nut hugger. I drive a mazda millenia S, my dad drives a 2005 nissan maxima. our american cars are a 64 corvette, 2004 suburban and 2001 jeep grand cherokee.
X2

Personally I would take a GM truck over any Import truck. Import trucks seem to focus more on making it a luxury vehicle instead of the work it can do.

Failed business is failed business.

It happens, should have let them go under instead of bailing them out.

Too bad America is retarded or socialist these days...

Plenty of Big Car Manufacturers have gone out in the past. It's just business. It happens.

I don't get how GM can sell so many vehicles world-wide and still have problems personally. I mean their market isn't just America, its the whole world. So how'd they screw that up? I blame the hummer h2!!! j/k. I think some Admins were reaching in the "cookie jar" while no one was looking a little too often and now their screwed.

i'd rather be a redneck than a dirty bastard that fucks 8 year old little boys like you do yet see nothing wrong with it. hows it feel that your dad is also your grandpa and your mom is also your sister and that your kids will also be your brothers and sisters?

both my parents have domestics, a 05 trailblazer and a 08 avalance and the lanche is nice,. they actually did a full redesign on them and removed that crappy plastic on teh bottom, it rides well and everything. the trailblazer is JUST like my 98 I had. 10 years and no progress.

The damage is already done for GM and ford though, and they need to figure out a way to revitalize there image. I would hate to see nascar without GM

we are not downing american products just that there are other cars far better at their price range. the Big 3s mistake was designing ugly cars. Malibu is in the price range of the Camry and Accord which are far more attractive and way better in performance. when I think Big 3 I think of some nice 0 guage wire not car companies. When I think American made I think of FI, DD, AQ not car companies.

The Funny thing is AM General is Owned by GM and we see Humvee's all over the world. lol.

I do know what you're talking about, but it doesn't really have a lot to do with the EPA caring about the environment. If the EPA wasn't here, this place would be a dump. It would be, in essence, as bad as a third world country. I know I'd rather live in a clean place than a toilet. Granted, sometimes the EPA does over step their boundaries, but there has to be some type of reason.

At my current job, we've started to run a certain percentage of bio diesel in our buses to keep costs down and help on the environment.

If you do recall, the great depression was around the time of the dust bowl. IF some of the "conservatives" would've listened to FDR, it would've NEVER happened.

I also agree on domestic auto manufacturers being more concerned with SUV and truck sales rather than making something more economical. The technology's there, Honda's been using it since the 80's, like lilmaniac2 stated.

The old D series are little runners.

I honestly don't see anything wrong with that.

I have to admit that for a long time domestics were masters at making trucks but since the titan and new tundras have come out it has turn things around.
