Buying new 10s or 12s...looking for SQ

i personally will never buy another tc sounds sub...had the tc 3000..the customer service just isn't there and i had lots of problems with a brand new sub. Anyways, for SQ subs i still believe the RL-P is one of the best out there. i can't believe no one else has recommended it. Last year this time there was a SS hard-on. Mike @ SS has superb service as well. And he takes Paypal!!!

type r's man. they rock all around. alot of peopel will thell you everyone has them. but thats because there the best bang for the buck. if you care about good sounding music and geting some real power then go type r.

Type R in a sound quality catergory......LMMFAO. Not even in most of the other subs mentioned level.

Anyone else had a bad experience with TC Sounds? I would be either getting the TC-1000 or the db-500s.

I would suggest the JL W7 series, SI Mag, Or the RE woofers. They are great woofers. If you want SQ just keep the gains low!

I don't really have the money for JLs. I'm still between TC-1000, Fi SSd, Mach 5 12", RL-p, and the ID subs. are there any others I should be considering? How much does an RE cost? Keep in mind I don't want to be sending more than about 600 w rms to the subs.

Really they are all great subs and you will be happy with either. Try and get to listen to them to see what your preference is. The main reason I bought a Fi Q over a few other options is because I was able to hear one locally and knew I would be very happy if I bought one.

Here are my current options:

OZ Matrix Elite (Would have to be used)

12" Fi SSd $189

12" TC-1000 $169

ED 13Kv.2 $125

12" RL-p $230

12" IDQ $200

Mach 5 MAW-12 $65

12" DIYMA Reference $120

For the subs under $150 I may be able to get two. The ones above that I will only be able to get a single sub. Whatever I buy will be going in a sealed enclosure. Are there are drivers I should take off this list or add to it? Aside from that I will wait and watch the classifieds and look for a good deal on any of these. If anybody has any of these let me know what you have and an asking price.
