go with some spl subs like l7's or something that are very loud and send lots of power to them

have you heard the classics yet? i've heard both, and i'd say the r takes it in output, but not in sq. this and the fact you'll be putting them in a trunk, up against a a pair of r's in an suv - you'll lose.

are you guys actually using an spl meter, or are you judging by ear?.. Alos, what kind of car do you actually own, so we can get an idea of trunk size (maybe this has been stated, didn't read too well), and then what does the winner get? Head from the head cheerleader?

The guy im getting it from is an authorized dealer for RD Audio, and he said im guaranteed 100% if i get 2 12" Classics, that amp he told me about (forgot the name), 4 guage wire, and a custom ported box i'd be able to beat him hands down.

how can someone say that when he hasn't even heard the other guys setup? and of course he'd say that, if i was a dealer for them i would say the same thing. it's called making a sale.

haha that would be pretty ****in great if that was the prize. but we get a trophy, and they measure by a DB reader. i dont know exactly how that works because i never got DB's read in my car. but i own a 1998 Nissan Altima, trunks pretty big

they are nice subs, but if wanting to be louder than the guy with the r's, go with something else.
