Buying a New Sub

alright thx for all your guys help its nice to know there are people around that will still help and not just call somebody a noob or somethin

and with the whole box situation I dont really have the room for a dual ported because dont I need a decent ammount of free air room if Im pushing that much air around because I know with the one Ive got in there right now it sounds like my trunk is falling apart and I know most of that is just the pure force of the 9500 but I just figured if I didnt have enough room in my trunk then it would sound bad and probably distorted

if your gonna do 2 9500's I would go with 6 cubes tuned to 32hz. And remeber to brace that box

x2. i'm still mooching off the rents for now so i'm buying up while i can tho my car insurance is killing me. **** accidents. but if you have the money, i'd say get the other sub, build a dual box for them (sealed is easier, smaller and has better response) or ported (better output, bigger, and not as easy). you're choice. but wire them to 1 ohm, set the gains using a dmm to recommended rms, and bump away.
ya sealed will give you best possible sound quailty. but since your a bass head you would want to go ported and if you tune correctly you really wont notice a dash of Sound quailty missing

I have to go to school now but Ill check back in about 4 hours so if anybody wants to post some usefull info for me while Im gone Id love to check it out when I get back, once again thx for all ur help

^that's why porty no worky. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

4ohm = less distortion1ohm = more distortion... but you cant tell because its such a low freq.

not low frequency... (frequency is measured in hertz) frequency response is not directly affected by ohm load. I believe what you meant to say is that its soo low that its inaudible.

^^improved for clarity

I don't mean to sound like a dik, i'm just making it clear for others.
