ok so i sold a used sub to this guy at school,it worked fine no for me. We hooked it up for him and showed him that it worked in my vehicle. He said ok ill take. Well about 3 days later he starts sayin i ****ed him over. Then he says his uncle wants to talke to my parents and hes goin to kick my *** and stuff. Well hes sayin that the sub(dual voice coil) has one blown vc. Well i tried explaing to him that it wasnt my fault it messed up on him. U cant give a warranty on a used sub. Hes sayin he better get his money back or else....ugh o lol well point is dont u just hate ignorant people like this....but by all means correct me if im wrong!!!

If your buyer saw the driver in operational condition prior to making the purchase and went ahead with the purchase based on that experience then personally I'd have to tell him "That's the breaks, kiddo."

I wouldn't allow some nimrod to hold me personally responsible for their failure to use the equipment properly and causing a malfunction as a result.

Then, whether I'm seen as an *** for it or not, I wouldn't sweat it.

I had the same thing happen to me on an eBay sale. I sold an amp that I know was working when it left my possession. My buyer resold it pretty soon after taking receipt of the amp and then allegedly got some report from his buyer that the amp was DOA.

Pfft.

Puh-LEEZE.

I told him it was his baby and I wasn't going to be held responsible for it especially considering he had already sold the amp after I sold it to him! //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/rolleyes.gif.c1fef805e9d1464d377451cd5bc18bfb.gif

Sounds to me like a pretty bad case of buyer's remorse and he's giving his family a line of crap about the whole transaction to get them on his side.
