Because I never asked about the quality of my subwoofer, I did not come in saying "is my system crap?" but within the first five replys, maybe that's why I argue with anyone who thinks the solution is to buy something else (which is flat out idiotic advice, and flat out insulting) but I guess a lot of new people here play the roll over for the big dogs game. Ion, I don't recall you, or anyone really recommending a subwoofer, or a pair, and what did people help me with? What I gained from this entire thread is A. Everyone here seems to think my sub is crap (great, that's not helpful) B. Everyone here seems to think my amp ***** (not helpful). C. Everyone here seems to think my gains are too high (not helpful, they weren't). The fact was I could turn my gains up MORE and my sub is still fine, now it's pretty good, but I still prefer my old TR75 MTXs (but I can't fit those in the Challenger without a custom fiber glass enclosure).
So basically, I learned...nothing, sept that universally on caraudio.com, regardless of normal people loving them, Kicker is crap here, it's like buying a Taurus .44 Magnum rather than a Colt Anaconda. By that I mean it's actually built fine, it works fine, puts out fine power, isn't the most effiecent or the prettiest built, or the same "level" of quality, but it gets the job done, that dosen't mean people don't give you a degrading look when they see it though //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif in the end, it still goes bang, for half the price. If I had spent LESS money on my SRT-8, and say got an R/T I would have plenty of cash to throw into car audio, I don't though, and I have always heard Kicker stuff is reliable.
