burning smell coming from subs/box...

X1000.....Check your gains, and settings. Make sure theyt aren't all the way up.

eh it may be just new sub smell lol yea check your gains distorted signal your vc are getting hot and possibly melt down on em if you keep it like that to long

had the same thing with my 2 type r 12's with 2400 watts. over powered,? so should i turn my gain down some more? the smell was bad

after 75% on most amps it is just a distorted signal which isn't good for subs or vc:fyi:
