You're right man, I guess I am over doing it.first of all...need to get CAPACITIORS out of ur head. lol, yeah...they are worthless just so ya know...a band-aid for a week electrical system. Also, you DO NOT want components in the back...this will make ur system SQ less...b/c you want ur soundstage in front...with a little back-up in the rear, this is why u should go with coaxials like the CDT cl-6x's. Believe me, what i recommended....it will be AMAZING and much more than u would;ve gotten anywhere else. Also, it includes EVERYTHING you need with money to spare!!! what u listed, i think, is a little above and beyond...too much...lil overspending. Save some money on the HU...it is DEF not worth $250 MORE. the components....not worth an extra $400...the HD's sound AMAZING. the hifonics amp...good find but too powerful for rear coaxe's...also mass expensive. You got A LOT of very experienced people giving you some head's up...and what i gave you will be sweet....very sweet! so, obviously u came here for advice from us, so try it out...listen to my original suggestions...we won't lead u wrong, u'll love it, i'm 4 real. good luck, peace

yeah and i can back up everything ngsm13 is saying. capacitors are worthless and actually hurt unless u have an upgraded alternator. then its ok to go for just a 1 farad cap. Still wont do u much good though. Also, when u have a nice set of components up front powered by an amp u do Not need rear speakers. Trust me. if u want go for dedicated midbass drivers. Or get a 3 way component set. You're right man, I guess I am over doing it. Thanks
I know you don't think I need to worry about the rear speakers, but if I get the CDT CL's (80 watts each) what amp should I push them with? Should I pick something with 2X50 watts @ 4 ohms?no problem, just glad to see sum1 that listens to suggestions when they ask for them. Just trying to help you do it right the first time...b/c i didn't...and it sucked....so i like to help others do it right and save them the time and frustration. good luck, keep visiting here...u'll leard a lot. peace

Yeah, I think you and ngsm13 have sold me on the fact that I would be wasting my money on Capacitors.yeah and i can back up everything ngsm13 is saying. capacitors are worthless and actually hurt unless u have an upgraded alternator. then its ok to go for just a 1 farad cap. i alway liked us acoustics amps. just because they are cheap doesn't meen they can't perform well. the usx 4085 is 85 watts rms x4 at 4 ohms. i have the 4065 running cdt cl-51 comps. and a pair of infinity 4x6 plates. the sq on them is great. there rms power is rated at 12.9 volts so if you have a decent charging system that amp will go well over rms power. plus there thd is .01% and s/n is like 100db's or over. i just like to give props to us acoustics whenever i can because i think they are great amps and would recommend them to anybody. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gifI know you don't think I need to worry about the rear speakers, but if I get the CDT CL's (80 watts each) what amp should I push them with? How do you think US Acoustics compares to AudioBahn?i alway liked us acoustics amps. just because they are cheap doesn't meen they can't perform well. the usx 4085 is 85 watts rms x4 at 4 ohms. i have the 4065 running cdt cl-51 comps. and a pair of infinity 4x6 plates. the sq on them is great. there rms power is rated at 12.9 volts so if you have a decent charging system that amp will go well over rms power. plus there thd is .01% and s/n is like 100db's or over. i just like to give props to us acoustics whenever i can because i think they are great amps and would recommend them to anybody. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif
What do you think about using the usx4085 to run the CDT HD-62 components and the CL-6x?us acoutics is better. Check out the 4085...just extremely great build quality and a 3 YEAR warranty. I'e dealt personally with the usx4085, usx2080, and the usx2100. Solid amps, just great. peace

actually what i would do is get the usx 4085 and get a pair of the classic series cdt's at thezeb.com for $150. there would be no need really for the hd when you would only put half there rms power to them. i run the usx 4065 which is less power on a pair of cl-51 and they are plenty loud with good sq so i don't think you need to spend the money for the hd line when the classics will be just as good. and by the way to get the 3 year warranty you need to buy from an authorized dealer. i paid a little more and spent $129 for my usx 4065 and got it from crutchfield.com, but what i should've done was had sounddomain price match but oh well. What do you think about using the usx4085 to run the CDT HD-62 components and the CL-6x?The HD-62's can take 180 watts from what I read at the home site
and the CL-6X can run 80 Watts RMS
