Building new system. need help/opinions

Hey guys. New to this site. I don't know too much in depth when it comes to car audio, just the basics. FOr a year or so now I have had my first system (pioneer subs/amp) nothing serious. But I have gotten bored of it because i just want to go louder. I've been doing some research, but can't seem to pick subwoofers/amp for the new system. I do wanna go big. I went back to the audio dealer in my town where I got the pioneers from and told him the story. He's been pushing pheonix gold's elite series subs. Said they are super loud and priced it all out for me with the amp and everything. I'm just wondering what you guys think of those subs or what subs you guys might recommend instead. Not trying to spend over 5000 which includes all the wiring and stuff. Thanks

PS: It'd be cool to do hair tricks or to see the car flex which I know requires alot of air being pushed.

First off don't do the big name shops buy everything online you'll save a ton of cash, and find a local installer to wire it all up what is your ride?

5k is a large budget. I wouldn't necessarily say this is the best route to take. If I am spending 5k I would want a guarantee on the work, someone that has insurance in case something goes wrong, and someone that can safely keep my car for a few days. Just because they have a big name, doesn't mean they are going to rip you off. I would not trust joe schmoe who has installed 4 different forum boner set ups in three different cars and thinks he is qualified to handle everything.

are you looking to wall off the truck or just below window line behind the rear seats, or c pillar wall (behind the rear seats wall)?

$5k is a hell of a budget to get a great system going.
