Building a box today - advice

Haha, well still though, 62hz? Really?

Shit, you're in Toledo right? Know any reputable place I could go to have them build me a box? Or anyone good? I don't got the tools and last time I tried to have my friends and me build a box everyone got tired and ended up ****ing my shit up costing me the $30 or so in the MDF and another $10 for glue/screws.

I'm saying for the whole box, not per sub. I think I'm right..... (I better be, it's basic math lol)
No your right...I was using the wedge calculator when I thought i was using the square calculator, lol

I re-did it and got a tuning of around 44hz

No man, sorry. I do all my own builds...I would offer to help you but I don't have the tools myself, I always go over to my uncles house and use his stuff but he lives an hour east of here.

That makes sense then, because initially the guy who I asked about the box said he thought it was tuned to 44hz, and I said, oh, you got any tuned to 32hz, and then the other guy came running out and was like, OH, actually this one IS 33hz... shady sales technique. 44hz still too high to hit anything I've been trying to hit.

I won't even lie, I doubt it, just going by what they told me.... which most likely 99.9% is bullshit. Posted the measurements about to do a little research.
Since the height is 13" and the port is 12", I'm assuming the box is made out of .5" MDF. Given that assumption, you have 3.65ft^3 before any displacement. Take away .2ft^3 for subs and .33ft^3 for port and you have about 3.1ft^3 after displacements. 3.1ft^3 with a 12" x 3" port that's 12" long = roughly a 41hz tuning. Small box and high tuning = shitty frequency response. Shoot fot 4-4.5ft^3 tuned to 33-35hz and I think you'll be much happier.

That's some shady shit right there...

I was assuming .75" MDF

I'll help some if I can. I won't have a computer for too much longer today though. 4 cubes total tuned to like 30-32 hz something like that if you want to wang on the lows. Now you might go to their website and find out the speaker recommendations. I tried to but my PDF doesn't work.

Diamond audio says 1.25 cubes per when vented, tuned Fb/F3 to 40/34hz port 4x20.5
