building a box, regular speaker question

So I am going to be building a fiberglass box, and I am going to include on the box, 2 inside speakers, not subs.. I have a firebird and I can't ever hear the ones by my feet, so I am moving them..

So when I build this box, should I build a 2 seperate chambers for them? Or should I just cut a whole outside of the chambers on the front, and have the speakers just on the box and have open air? or....????
