OK thx. but i did some recalculating and this is wat the volume is supposed to be.
32/12=2.666666666666666666666666666 ect.
22/12=1.833333333333333333333333333 ect
16/12=1.333333333333333333333333333 ect.
i guess 2.666x1.833x1.333=6.514075074cubic feet so i guess the box is not 6.1cf^3 but is actually 6.5cf^3.........when i use a calculator this is the answer i get, but when i use a subwoofer calc i get 4.86111cf^3 with the wood thickness set to 1" at this site:
http://www.the12volt.com/caraudio/boxcalcs.asp#rec
also you say this is a big *** box, but what would u guys recommend as a good size? im putting in my 1995 jeep yj wrangler and i am going to have to remove the rear seat in order to fit the enclosure in the car.
The greatest width I can have in the jeep is 32" , depth I can change, and height I
would like to have around 15-16". I really need your guys' help. also since im gonna take the rear seat out I will need a large box because if i have a small one (32x14x15 for example) i will have way to much space left over and itll just look out of wh@ck.
THANK YOU FOR THE HELP!
the volume of the encosure with the subwoofers' displacement is 4.54111cf^3
box volume=4.86111
