1. Product:
Parts to build a pair of TC7's
2 TC-7 motors; one has a shifted top plate, other is good
2 Med/Stiff Spiders
2 Paper cones with wide surrounds
2 10" 4 spoke baskets w/ gaskets and screws
2 3" 4-layer FW Al coils
2 spider spacers
2 terminals (1 per basket)
2. Specs:
Motors - Both from Eclipse 8810.6's, but have slightly different gap sizes. I e-mailed Thilo about it and he said if you use identical coils, there will be a slight difference in T/S specs, but it wont be audible.
Spiders - Med/Stiff progressive 8" spiders, 3" coil openings
Cones - Strong paper cones, nice wide foam surrounds, 3" coil openings
Baskets - Also from Eclipse 8810.6's. Needs to be cleaned, both come with 1 set of terminals and original gasket. Gaskets aren't in the greatest shape due to their age, but still wrap around and hold fine.
Coils - Dual 2ohm each. 4-layer flatwound, aluminum. ID: 2.985 OD: 3.145 FH: 3.95 WW: 1.5
Spacers and screws - Spacers are 3/8". Standard screws.
3. Description/Condition:
I was gathering parts to build a nice pair of daily drivers, but I've decided to go in a different direction. I have no idea what the exact RMS value would be using these parts, but looking at similar builds, I would expect at least 750w. All that's missing are dustcaps, tinsel, and glue. The spider spacers aren't necessary since each sub only has 1 spider, but I'll throw them in with the baskets for free anyways. The spacers are also useful for gluing down the spiders.
1 TC7 is in great condition. Other has a shifted top plate.
Coils, spiders, cones are brand new.
Baskets, gaskets, terminals, spacers are used from original 8810.6 subs.
4. Price: :
Prices DO NOT include shipping. Most items can fit in flat rate boxes (padded envelopes in the case of the spiders), unless you're buying a lot of things.
Motors - $55 for the good one, $25 for the shifted one
Cones - $35 for both
Coils - $40 for both
Spiders - $13 for both
Baskets, gaskets, screws and spacers - $40 for both
$180 + shipping for everything
I'd prefer to sell everything as pairs, unless I have a buyer for both. Price will just be divided by 2 + shipping if that's the case.
