Build Log: XXX Install and More...

Yea I know, thats what we planned on doing too, the system prolly wont be up and running by then but still, I'll have to check it out sometime.
Its killing me riding around with a half *** stereo, so Ill probably at least get the sub in pretty soon.

My buddys got an extra sealed box layin around that I made him, so Ill probably snatch it up and toss the sub in so I can at least play with it a little.

Its funny, Ive got all these parts sittin around me everytime Im sittin in my room, and I have yet to hear them //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif.

Startin to get used to it though with all the projects Ive always got going on. Oh well, will make it that much more enjoyable once I get to hear it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif:D:D

those amps looking amazing!
willing to sell mine back to me //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif
//content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif Maybe one day //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/wink.gif.608e3ea05f1a9f98611af0861652f8fb.gif

no endcaps for the amps?
that would set them off imo... and what are you gonna do about the labels for the adjustment knobs?
Naa no end caps, I dunno, I just dont like how the caps look on these. Just a little to gaudy for me. I like em clean and smooth. I couldnt really use them with the way I plan on laying them out in the trunk anyway.

Im gonna glass a cover to flush mount them all in the back, should look tits. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/biggrin.gif.d71a5d36fcbab170f2364c9f2e3946cb.gif

Oh and dont need any labels //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/laugh.gif.48439b2acf2cfca21620f01e7f77d1e4.gif, I know which knobs are which and Id prefer to keep it clean, not to mention Ill only be using one of the knobs. Which is the gain, and will be set with the DMM anyway. All the crossovers will be turned off and all controled through the 9887. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/cool.gif.3bcaf8f141236c00f8044d07150e34f7.gif

wow mikey you really made that xxx look sexy //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif, the amps look really good to.

Post up bishes!
Hey I was busy reading this thread, I never checked it out.

I remember the FI build, tore it out already lol. Nice job with the amps, When you do your doors make sure you hit them with 40 grit, and do a couple things near the seams/ends so that the glass sticks to your work! That is, if you glass onto the plastic door panels. I regret not doing enough prep work to mine.

Looking good so far, I really like the custom work.

Hey Panel, not to be a dick or anything, just a little constructive critiscm, but we do have a quote button in the bottom right hand corner. Just hit that to the person you are replying too. Sometimes it makes you look like you are just rambling.
Its cool, I was actually gonna ask somebody cuz I was wondering how.

Yeah never satisfied lol.

I could definitely use some pointers when it comes to glassing all my panels.

What I really want to do is glass the entire door panel and paint it jet black, just like the amps and sub, Im just not sure how to go about finishing the panel to smooth it out.

Once the time comes Ill start doing research.

Big thumbs up for all the work you have put into the car as well as the system, going to be worth all that work when its finished.

Good job on those amps and that sub, they look beautiful.

Don't know if you talked about it but how will you be mounting that sub?

It'd be a shame to hide that beautiful basket.

Can't wait to see some install pics.

Keep up the good work.

Thanks man.

Well my plan is to have the sub in a standard style box, probably using aeros now, mounted inverted, with all the amps laid out in front of the box when you open the trunk. So that the motor of the sub kind of sits over top the amps, Im hoping to have the battery at the left of the trunk, in a case, then have the tweet amp, sub amp, and then mid amp laid out in that order.

Should look tits //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/boink.gif.91933e72f927f2cefc79aff02573090c.gif
