Build for 2012 Ram 1500 Quad Cab Questions

Hello, I am making a system for my 2012 ram 1500 Quad Cab. I am currently gathering items needed and planning everything out. So far here's what I have -

HU - Pioneer AVH-X5700BHS

Subs - Two SA-12 D4's wired down to 1 ohm in a foxbox under backseat

Amp - looking at Crescendo BC2000D but I also have an old Hifonics Bxi1605d I may try out.

Tweeters/doors and 4 channel amp - Still not sure what to go with here.

Big 3 upgrade

Here's the questions. First off, any comments for this build? I know SA-12's are only rated for 600 watts each but I have personally seen these ran much higher.

I also want to know if my Stock Alt and Battery can hold this system up. I honestly know nothing about H/o Alts and batteries. I think my stock Alternator is 136 amps.

Looks good, i almost went with a fox box myself, tell me how it turns out and if you like it. It looks soild so far. Once you do the big three and if you have a fairly new battery you should be able to hold up that BC2000D with a good electrical but you would be pushing it. You wont know till its all hooked up..

EDIT: I thoguth the 2012 had the stock 160 amp alt? The 136 i thought was only mine which is the third gen rams. If thats the case that 160amp alt will be fine with the BC2000

Thanks man. What box did you go with in your truck?
I ended up building my own, flipping up the back seats, i had a small box that fit under tha seat and it ******. Once i built the proper box, i gained SOO much output. I made mine to fit and remove and put in the bed if i needed the seats. I wanted more space so it was either fox box or build my own.

Did you see my edit^

See it now, it would be great if it was 160 stock. Like I said I have no clue how to check. Praying it is 160 guess I will get an idea when I put the system in place here in the next week or two. Also where did you mount your amp if you dont mind me asking. Was thinking about in between the subs if it'll fit. Another idea was under one of the front seats however not sure if I like the idea of rear passengers having their feet near my amp.

Edit: did some more research looks like 160 amp is stock //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

So you will be fine with that amp then, I mounted my amp under the driver seat, but keep in mind that I have a smaller amp than that bc2000. In my truck nobody can reach the amp with their feet unless they really tried. It would look cleaner if you did the amp on the box between the subs but the choice is yours. Keep in mind drilling a hole through the body to the frame for the ground is easier if the amp is under the seat right below the frame.

I took a look at my stock battery and it is an AGM battery with 730 CCA, 80 AHR, 140 RC, 630 EN. I also went ahead and bought a XS D3400 battery with 1000 CCA and 67 AHR. Would it be recommended that I use this one to replace the stock, or put it in the back and keep the stock? I am also looking at upgrading alternator aswell, Just to be safe.

I can tell you now, i wouldn't upgrade that alternator quite yet. It's one thing if you see you need it but they cost a lot and your stock is rather big. I would only upgrade if you saw you needed it. I dont know to much about batteries but if i where to guess i would say just add that one to the back, maybe somebody else can chime in though
