Build box vs. Buy box

Im about to start building my system soon, and I actually have no idea wut I'm doing, so Im tryna find out....but one question at a time. What is the difference (besides me saving money) between building your own box and buying a box ?? Which is better???

Building your own box is better. Boxes you buy usually arent gonna be of very high quality. You can build a box of high quality and specifically build it for the application you want.

or, at the very least, if you buy a box, go with one of the people on the forums that specialize in box construction...they'll listen to you, and deliver a custom-built product that's much better than anything you can find at Best Buy or Circuit City.
