whatts up.... i currentley have 2 mtx 9500 15"s in a 9.5cu ft ported box. At my first competition i hit 155.1dB@ 43hz. Im looking to get a little louder. i have tried 3 diffrent boxes tuned to diffrent frequencies to get more spl but my first box seems to do the trick. im thinking of taking the exact same box design, and making a wall of it so the volume, port is exactley te same. what do you guys think?

its in a 2-door ford explorer, all dynamated up too, have 3deep cycle marine batteries also

what about keeping what you have and upgrading electrical? have you done anything with the wiring under the hood?

thanks, but i gotto say that my drivers window was cracked about an inch, for some reason everybody was doing it at the competition, and i dident want to be at a disadvantage.... im shure if it was closed i would have hit 154....

my elsectical system is crap, i have a stock alt, and 1 1/0 gauge running back...dont even have the "big three" where you beef up the wires connecting the alt . just 3 boat batteries

try doing elect. upgrades first to attempt to maintain 14+ volt and see what your numbers are

im not shure about a score on the TL, i had only been to one competition where thay had an audio control meter...im not too updated on the mic's they use

i talked to xtatic batcap and they said i can have the "demo promotion" i get maby $90 - $120 off their products depending. i have heard good reviews from xtatic model 2000 as well...compares well against the kinetik HC2400

each is getting a 1,750watts RMS...they take it very well...no problems at all. i have been running this amount of power to the subs for about a year and a half...
