Budget sub question PG vs PPI <$100

broke as hell but want to add something to my factory 10 speaker setup in my Jetta, the PG would be the RSD 12 for $95 shipped and the PPI is the DCX 104 (no 12's in stock) for $100 shipped. Box will most likely be sealed on the PG, not sure on the PPI.

Check out the ebay seller "Trading Circuit". It's a part of Circuit City selling returned woofers and amps. I just picked up a fully functional Eclipse SW4200 for $13, and I've seen quite a few 10" kicker CVRs for (Buy it now) $30. Just be sure to read the description since it tells you straight up what condition the woofer is in.

You might very well be able to get a bit of bump in your Jetta for around $150 or less.

I'll second the Eclipse SW4000. Especially if you can get one from CC on eBay on the cheap.

thought about the mach5 but with the comparisons to the idmax i'm really leaning to the Rsd.

I heard a PPI 12 and was not impressed at all. It may have been under powered but I put a old RF 12 on the same amp and it sounded 10x better.

I doubt it was the DCX model which uses the dual gap tech like the Critical Mass sub thats been getting such praise.
