So i've pretty much narrowed it down to this setup - the exchange rate is good and I'm almost ready to buy. Any last minute suggestions? Can I get it cheaper from somewhere else?

I also plan on buying a 10" sub a bit later which will be powered by the rear two channels of the amp

i wouldnt go with 8 gauge wire. looking into at least 4 or 0 gauge.

Are you sure you want to be that "low" powered? You can get more powerful amps for the same/near the same price.

The cadence txa6004 is available for a little more and does 150x4 @4ohms, 600x2 @4 bridged.

And yeah, even though you're only going to be using around 500 watts, I would still do at least 4ga. Leaves you room to upgrade...which you more than likely will.

lol yes, it was a 72lb monster - I'm going for something a bit more subtle this time around. I'll probably pick up an IDMAX 10 later in the year or a brahma if i can get my hands on one
