Budget for a Decent Build?

I'm looking to replace everything in my '05 Chevy Silverado, including the head unit, and I'd like to add a sub. I'm not looking for incredible quality sound, as anything new will be a huge upgrade over my terrible stock speakers. That said, how much would I have to pay to get a solid build? Nothing too fancy, but I don't want to buy crappy parts either.

Any advice would be appreciated!

Thanks,

~Michael

Youd be surprised how many people got disappointed when going aftermarkets without a proper install along with poor equipment choice led to their system sounding even worse than stock.
