I am starting over from scratch. I have decided to not exceed the limitations of my stock alternator. As such, I will be doing a more SQ oriented install. The first thing I want to do is get a Clarion CZ702 and a pieced together 3 way front soundstage. I plan on using Dayton Audio tweeters (ND25FA-4) and midranges (RS75-4). As for the Midbass-Woofer I am still undecided. The Silver Flute 6.5 is quite appealing. I will be powering the tweeters and midrange off te stock head unit and the woofer/mid bass off of an older RF punch 125.2.
Eventually I want to add a subwoofer, but for now I don't want to have to address the issues that would entail. Something in the range of 500 watts in an 8" driver.
Anyhow, any advice on a woofer/midbass driver? My budget is quite low. I only have $10 invested so far, and that is in the RF amp. I want to keep it minimal, but still end up with an end product that is greater than the sum of it's parts. Also, will I need anything else in order to run a true active 3 way soundstage?
