I told him what i think he could hit if he did a simple aero box.....bout a 146 -147 would be fair for an 18 and 1200watts

He knows though...i mean he has 6000 posts on here, he cant think that is all that setup should have in it......you too haha

i still dont see that happening unless it was aeroported to high 40's, low 50hz and burping.

i was doing 148 w/ 2 15"s tuned to 36hz on ~3-4kw daily box (sealed on the dash, closer to 150.x outlaw burping). thats average imo. 1 18" isnt going to hit those numbers daily without ~3kw

142 in the kick is horrible..... either his setting are off or the box blows dick it shouldnt only do a 140 sealed or only a 136 at 40 hz that is pathetic...

i needed a quick design w/ a slot port?

I never stated or implied that i am the god of car audio. I stated what i felt about his TL results. Then gave him what i felt would help get the most outta his equipment, i can guarantee that if he follows what i suggested he will be MUCH happier. I'm not here to ******** with people, i tell it like it is. Sorry if that bothers you.

the little I heard on music sounded pretty good though

most ive seen are very inefficient and peak werid even tho they are suppose to be flat.... my simple ported box is prolly waaaaaaay flatter than bucks "flat" box lmao

Of course in kick....legal is a whole diff animal

I did 145.6 @ 36hz burp in kick in the trunk with a TypeR 15 and PLanet Audio 1200watt

I dont see how some people has a problem doing numbers with anything.

I cant think of any setup that i couldnt do a 45 and over with in the kick.....given 1200watts and cone area equal to a 18

Did you install the systems you comped with? or did you play hold this with the actual guru?

You told him to stuff a shirt in his port, and build a new box, great advice!

How do you know what he really wants? Have you spent time with him discussing it?

You simply could have approched it differently instead of slamming him.

This is the one thing i alwaysssss wanted to test with one of his designs

I mean in my normal 2 12R box that was just a 6in aero tuned to 32hz

It would burp within 5-6dbs from 30hz to 50hz......peakin at 149.6 @ 43hz in the kick, there was HARDLYYYY anything special about it
