lol first time i metered i did 142.8 with 1 15 l7 in the trunk with 1 kw at the hearest at 38 hz of course i research and stuff when i do things.......

Well stuffing an aero port would raise the tuning if needed, say if this truck peaked higher.

I worked on my car with teammates through out the MECA season to gain here and there.

stuffing a port will lower the tuning, not raise it.

theres always someone louder. hell a friend that never competitor and i sold him a 800 watts Rf 800a2 on a 2000 model kove 15 did a 146. lol

comparing clamped watts with rated watts is completely useless. I'm doing 46's right now with 1500 watts (rated), but if I clamp it I calculate closer to like 500 watts with rise iirc if even that...does that mean I'm doing mid 40's with 500 watts, not really. Unless this was a way overrated amp (rd3250.1 @ 2 ohms, it's not)...

I'm going to agree, that number is pretty poor for a kick score. It doesn't matter what kind of a box it is, an 18 should do more than a 142 in the kick. There should be at least 6 dB in there, even for a musical box. Even though I have a fart box, my kick score is about 10 dB higher than that with a 15" Type R. With some work and a better designed you should be able to gain A LOT of output and still have a musical box.

The way I see it right now is just box design. Yes, it will take some work, but I will get there. It was a trial run, now I know more about what needs to be done. No, I wasn't very excited about my score necessarily. After reading what scores I could be getting, I will aim at say 146-147 for now. And I might throw some more power on there as well.
