If I had to have some ugly crap like that riding with me to gain a few db I would just assume stay home. Seriously, do you bother wash your car, or clean the inside? If so why would you be ok with all that ugly shit being seen?

Some cars don't care if the port is close to a side car and some do. My truck hates it. It wouldn't hurt to make sure that the port is at the very least 4 inches from the side wall.

I noticed that too. But I wasn't going to say anything so I could get a few more pointers //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

With the box the way it is, it should be about 6-7 inches away from the side. I just figure say the width of the aeroport away from the side. Idk if I will need more than 17" of port each. But if I need to go lower than 35 hz I do.

People sure can talk shit but can't take any...

Don't get me wrong, I still appreciate the help Lakota.

listen to what Lakota said. He knows everything there is to know about ext. cab trucks and since I met him last summer he has helped me gain 9 db's at the headrest! And galactic monkey was right. Your truck is completely different from every other vehicle. Your just going to have to try every different design you can think of and see what YOUR truck likes the most.

that's not Lakota's truck, that's tommyk's truck, as he mentioned. and you must be retarded if you honestly think he drives around with that behind his seats. that setup hits 153's easy and he usually runs a 10 inch DD that hits 152. Why don't you try hitting numbers like that with a 10 inch sub and then maybe your advice might be worth something.

You got that right:D
Shoot yea. Btw, just an //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif, the next project is deadning. I doubt you know how to do that //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/tongue.gif.6130eb82179565f6db8d26d6001dcd24.gif

I wouldn't test him. He has a DD 9500 motor I believe with 99z soft parts.

And your saying this like I wasn't listening. I drew up a box, and asked every question that I could while I could.

First I don't care who's truck it is, it looks like ***! I can only assume it is driven that way, or someone is taking it in and out at the expense of a bunch of effort everytime it rolls down the road. And truthfully even if that is how it is set up everyday it is dirven down the road, what the hell do I care, it isn't my truck, if he is happy with it great! I am proud that he hits "153's" easy, and 152 with a 10, thats great. He obviously has some skills. I think I may just try to do that, maybe I can get a groupie like you to mouth off. As for my advice, I have really not given any other than, to keep his head on straight and not to listen to every *** that spouts off some great tip.

go wipe you nose you have some snot running into your mouth, Little man;)

i know that so it shouldnt be to hard to threw it in and prove me wrong then right? just cause you got a DD doesn't mean shit. you can have the best equipment in the world and if you dont know what your doing then it's not going to be loud at all. At state finals last year a guy had four DD 9510's in a mid 90's explorer and all he hit was a 140.5. There's more to a system then just having the most exspensive sub or the biggest amplifier. Hitting a 152 with a single 10 inch DD like tommy did takes considerable time on the meter and hitting a 151 with a 15" type r with a single zx2500 takes time on a meter to.

And I know you listened to their advice. there was just a lot of other people giving out worthless advice to your question and I was throwing in my 2 cents and trying to help make sure that you were listening to the right people and ignoring the dumbass'
