Buck's first TL score

Yes, playing music, car off, w/ 40 amps of fusing @ headrest.

That set up did a 150.xx @44hz in the kick.
You have a good bass vehicle then.

with port to the drivers side in my ext cab f150 it made no difference to the ear if the sub was up or forward, never threw it on a meter though
Just about every setup in my f150 sucked though, I am teh quiet
You have one of the most badass f150s ever. Too bad it won't get loud //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/frown.gif.a3531fa0534503350665a1e957861287.gif

Huh?, it was in a honda civic trunk. Its just a loud box, just like what your going to build.

6" Aeros arent cheap, but they are worth it. Just buy 2 and quit being a cheap ***.

Ive seen subs up and ports to driver side work great in a ton of ext cab trucks. My buddy had 2 BTL 15s and 2 RF T4ks below the window line in an S10 ext cab and it would do 153 and change on music all day tuned low, to like 30hz. That was sealed on dash. Just subs up and a slot port at the bottom drivers side a couple inches from side wall.

Heres how you get loud: Go to Home Depot/Lowes. Buy a couple sheets of MDF. Start building boxes. When you get a really loud one, leave it in the car. Just build whatever you think will work at first. Listen to it. Note what would make it louder. Maybe less airspace... Maybe more port area... Maybe higher tuning. Make the changes. If you need to at this point, build another box. Repeat.

I dont care what anyone says, its mostly trial and error. Best you can do is an educated guess.

40 amps of fusing can be in excess of 160 amps of actual current (depending on how you have set your fuse blocks up) and that can give you close to 2000w (depending on voltage), so that isn't impressive IMO.

I'm not being cheap, they just are more expensive than I thought. If I wanted to be cheap, you think I would've put this much money and work into my truck? I've already come up with a design, just waiting until I actually have time to build it. I'll post pics of my little drawing I did.

Buck, think logically
Don't listen to all of the BS you see on here. only about 15% is worth giving consideration. If you need help let me know.
Ya man I will. I'm not going to build the box anytime soon. I have more things I want to do before that. I do believe the box is good for SPL though, because I have seen it before, not just what they are telling me.

Idk if you can see it, but the dimensions are 31x28x15.
Stack them like Tommy's box. You're going to have some long ports too //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif Man I'm giving away too much info tonight.
