Buck's first TL score

The sub is pretty much in the middle, maybe 2 or 3 inches over to left. I metered on the left side with everything closed.
There's a HUGE part of why your score sucked. I can almost bet that your truck likes to be open. I gain 2+ dB when opening a door. Put the sub on one side of the truck and the port on the other. Keep the side with the sub closed up and put the meter on that side's kick panel. Open the door on the side with the ports. I bet you'll gain.

Ok. So if I meter from the right kick, the sub can be behind me? That way I wouldn't have to move all my shit again.

In my truck is doesn't matter which side you have the sub or ports on, it will do the same score as long as you meter it correctly. When I meter in the kick I put the meter on the same side that the sub is on, keep that side of the truck sealed up, and then open the door on the opposite side.

For example, I usually keep the sub on the drivers side, and port on the passenger side. When I meter, I put the meter in the driver side kick, leave the driver door shut and driver window up. On the port/passenger side I open the door completely.

I see. That's exactly how I want to do it because if not I have to do a lot of rearranging with amps and wires and my batcap.

Thanks for the help, that's what I really was looking for. To anyone one who actually helped, instead of bashing pointlessly, I appreciate it //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/smile.gif.1ebc41e1811405b213edfc4622c41e27.gif

Yeh if you build it right you should be able to try it sun up and forward with same box.
I'd try both, one might work a lil better than the other.

Your gonna be surprised at how simple this box is but soooo much more output.

Than you're gonna curse the name PWK to the heavens haha.

And don't pay attention to anyone tryin to be nice or friendly, its not a good score as in you WILL do a lot higher if you listen to a few key people in here.

I hate when I see someone not have full potential out of a setup cuz their design is either crap or over thought to the point it decreases its output.

You'll get there man.
You summed up my points, in a much nicer way. Happy Friday!

with port to the drivers side in my ext cab f150 it made no difference to the ear if the sub was up or forward, never threw it on a meter though

Just about every setup in my f150 sucked though, I am teh quiet
