outch! its gonna need to be reconed too. i have taken the top plate off and put back on while magnitised to do some machining to the top plate but if you never have done before DONT. you will end up with a smashed finger or bleeding!

it would be cheaper to buy a new 1...

after you unbolt the basket from the top plate you need to get 6 2" long 6mm bolts put them all the way thru the top plate. put epoxy down on the magnet. make shims stick them in the gap put the top plate on (2" away. lower bolts evenly. next day retap to get epoxy backing the bolts out put in the threads...
