Broadening my Music Taste

1. I'm assuming you're being sarcastic...2. I rarely even read my PMs...

3. You didn't specify which track you wanted me to comment on in your message

4. Catch me on AIM and I'm more than happy to talk. Everyone knows this.

For future reference...if you send me a PM, just assume I'm not going to read it.

AIM : Brocktologist

Sorry for the confusion.

I'm pretty sure that most of you are missing the point of this thread. I said that I already listen to classic rock. Thanks to those that are suggesting good music to me and not stuff that I already listen to (marleyskater, ToyTundra, 04Accord, jman, sumone, and especially heyman).

From Wikipedia:

"Joe Satriani was inspired to play guitar at age 14 after hearing that Jimi Hendrix had died. Satriani reportedly heard the news during a football training session where he immediately confronted his coach and announced that he was quitting to become a guitarist."

He's insane, man. Disgustingly good. He taught Steve Vai to play guitar, if you know who that is.

If you liked 'up in the sky', check out the songs "one big rush" "surfing with the alien" and "summer song"

it's just nuts that he makes it sound so smooth while it's soooo technical, that and you have to overlook the fact that most of it's just demo-music, nothing really extraordinary going on with any of the other instruments.

i'm sure you've heard it before, but "cliffs of dover" but eric johnson is another one of those songs that instantly makes you want to learn guitar to make every woman in the world get *****.
