Bridged 4ch to run speakers

I am trying to figure out if I can bridge the channels on my amp to run my front speakers. I have a pair of Kappa 682.7cf's and an Aura RPM 4200.

I had thought about leaving the rear speakers (currently stock) hooked up to the amp's rear channels, and having the Kappa's on the front channels. But for the past few days I have had only the fronts hooked up, and the sound is fine. I don't miss having the rears, and since they are only 25RMS don't really see the point in hooking them up.

So is it possible to bridge the channels and just hook up the Kappa's? the amp has no specs that I could find of bridging the channels at 2ohms. Only that it is 150RMS at 4ohms (the Kappa's are 2ohm speakers)

If I am briding them do I just need 1 set of RCA cables? and how would these be hooked up? Or do I still need 2 set's of RCA's to connect to both front and rear channels? (would probably just get a Y adaptor at this point).

Sorry for some dumb questions, but don't want to damage any of my stuff by hooking up something wrong. Thanks.

i have a similar problem..as for you..keep the rear speakers on the rear channel and the front speakers kappa's on the front channel and see how it sounds..sounds like your 4 channel is well a 4200...is that the amp?? might be 50x4 rms..not sure on this amp...200w total power..check a search for specs...as for me..i have a 4 channel and put just the rears on the rear channel and the front and the dashes on the front channel...wired to a 2 ohm load on front channel and 4 ohm load on rear channel...only some 36w rms go to each my rear doors and some 60w rms go to both my front and dashes...not usre if this will help...i would go with all new speakers...keep the kappa's of course and replace the stock and get same brand as your other speakers in your doors or dash if you have them..thanks

The Aura 4200 can be bridged to 2 channels. The problem is that when you bridge two channels of an amplifier to get a higher power single channel, the compromise is that the bridged channel will not handle lower impedance loads as well. You can bridge the amp to the Kappas but being 2 ohm speakers it is likely that the amp will not stay stable for very long.
