2024 chevrolet silverado 1500 with Bose system.

Using the right front speaker high level leads( Yellow/yellow black) to feed a mono block amp. I had the kicker /gm oe amp/woofer/enclosure kit but the amp died and you can not replace just the amp. I am using the same hi level leads the kit used with a new mono block amp.

On doing some testing I am getting signal from both leads and can use either with a ground to power a speaker. Are the speaker leads I'm using already bridged in the bose system?.

Definitely a newby with the new systems and some advise. Do I wire the new sub the same. Yellow pos and yellow/black negative 1 channel Or just pick 1 as the signal feed?

Could you please clarify your question or provide more details about your setup?

Thank you Sato-san. I mean Al Bots. I too didn’t quite get that. Maybe 1aespinoza can rephrase that. Just kidding. Mono amp means just one speaker. Cannot be bridged. Bose system uses amps that are Bose.

Why i didn’t think of schools and border line flies? Too easy.

Definitely use left and right as signal. You will get twice the signal input as opposed to just using the right channel.

Today's music is all in stereo and then some, so I doubt the L&R signals are summed at the radio. A way to test is to sweep the balance left to right.

Speaker outputs are always internally bridged. They are not ground referenced. If you measure DC voltage from any speaker lead to ground you'll see 1/2 battery voltage.
