Brands recognized for their quality components and manufacturing.

Thats ******. I wouls like to get a better amp my SoundStream RUB has been great but it makes a buzzing sound. idk if its a fan or something else buzzing but I know it can get annoying. So now I would like to save up my cash and get a decent brand.
if it changes with rpm it may be alternator whine.

check your grounds, it's not your amps fault, it's because of your installation

Here's one I'm surprised nobody's mentioned yet, Genesis. I haven't really seen anyone running them in a couple years, so I had to look them up to see if they're still around, sure enough they are. Anyone here used them recently?

No not at all. I took the amp apart out of curiosity. Sure enough there is a little fan in there zinging away loud as can be. The amp workds perfectly but the fan is annoying unless the radio/CD is on

Nicest built subwoofers I've had to date are Infinity Perfect 10's and 12's and Focal Polyglass 13's. There's others of course but I'm definitely more of a SQ guy than SPL and these 2 were far and away my favorites and both solid as Hell. I also like the Power Series amps from RF (even the Punch are nice amps). I could never afford Mosconi or Linear or any of the UPPER brands but I'm starting to get to the point in my career where I can finally afford to try some of the more "exotic" lines.
I picked up two BNIB kappa perfect 12s for my bro a while back. He has them in a sealed box, and for what it is, gets decently loud, and they sound incredible. Gotta say, I was impressed the first time we hooked them up.

Yeah the sub is dual 2 so I need a 1 ohm stable amp.
How are Orion, Clarion, Kenwood, Power Bass, RE, and Skar?
im a fan of powerbass been running 3 15 pdx subs for 3 years now on everything from 900rms to 4k and they never let me down had a set of the 2xl 3way comps and the 3xl 2way comps both sounded great, also ran the 1000 and 1500 amps those were ok but worth the price i paid

I use old school PPI in my daily driver. A 2150am and a 4200am. Not alot of power but, I don't really need alot. Used them for years and they do what do...and they do it very well.

Thinking toward the future, I picked of a set of used Tru Technology Billets the other day. A B-2110 and a B-475. These amps have waaaay overbuilt power supplies (1000 watts), which translates into dynamic headroom and that's a feature I always look for in an amplifier. I also like their ability to bypass the pre-amp section. They claim to be 100% made in the USA but, their T0-3 output devices say "Mexico" on them so, we shall see.

So how bout that Stetsom lol?
Sorry to join this party late, but I've had good luck with the couple Stetsom amps I've used.

They make rated power and take up very little space.

Downside is that repair can be problematic since the parts aren't common. Also the build quality looks like a 10 year old put them together. They really do make a ton of power for their size though.

Looks like OP has a pretty good list, should be happy any way you go there.`
