Brahma Blown?

I was bumping the sub for about 8 mins. Started smelling smoke. Pulled over and a lot of smoke came out. Filled my whole trunk. Now my sub plays but at a certain level, makes my amp go into protect. Is the voice coil blown?

That's what I was thinking. That might explain why my amp goes into protect. It probably dropped the ohms too low for the amp to handle.

Get it fixed. The Brahma is a good sub.
