i am fixing to put one l7 15 in my truck while im saving up money for my other. I want a ported box and i want to build it myself. the box will be 36 wide by 25.5 inches tall and 14.5 inches deep. which that equals out to about 7.7 cu ft. then i know i have to take out the sub displacement port displacement and the braces. so how big would i need to make this port. this is my first time tryin to build a ported box so thats why im asking. i was told to tune it to 33 Hz. so how long, deep, wide dies this port need to be?? thanks for the help wes

Yeh i read that but i still dont really get it i mean im not the greatest at math im good at figuring out dimensions and box size and all that but square roots and stuff im still workin on im not the best at. but correct me if im wrong. the specs kicker gives u on tuning the box size they give u in their technical manual should almost be the same i mean the size will be different but u will still need the same port area to get the correct tuning frequency right? lol im a real newbie but im tryin to learn as fast as possible and the only way to learn is to ask ??'s. thanks for the help.

Wes
