Box size/position?

Ok, i need to salvage as much space as possible in my trunk of my Cobalt so can someone give me suggestions on how i could place 2 10" Type R's and 1 amp in my trunk? Here's some pictures of what i don't want it to look like but it gives an idea of the space (this isn't my trunk)...

I was thinking is there really a difference if i have both of the subs in one dual box or would it be just the same if i had them in separate single boxes? I could put each box in a corner and try and fit the amp in between them or if space permits mount it on the back of the seat. I was looking at a Hifonics Brutus 2400 watt amp but i've never seen dimensions for it so i have no clue how big it is. Here's a picture to show sort of what i was talking about...

wel, the largest brutus i have in my catalog is teh bxi2006D, it does 2000w @ 1ohm. the dimensions are 16.5" x 10.39" x 2.63".

as far as lay out goes....that's how ever creative you want to get, and how much $$ your willing to spend,...i think your on the right track though.
