box size and ports?

how do I measure my box to know what the specs are the box is square untill you get to the front where the subs are and the front slopes down making the subs site facing slightly up.

I got the box from a friend and was wondering if I should cut it back and make the face flat then the whole box would be square. then i need to tune port it and need the formula for how to tune port to 35hz.

Note that the "thickness" is the thickness of the wood.
