I'm a ported enclosure fan, you get more output from the sub most of the time "sub dependent" , with a ported enclosure then with a sealed. and more lower end frequency response as well. and you don't need as much power to push them.

Common chambered sealed or ported is fine. Just make sure you have sufficient bracing
