doing a ported enclosure for a single 12. 2.5^3 tuned to 34hz. i'd like to use round ports made from 4 inch pvc. by my noobish calculations, it seems that i need 2 ports, 10.25 inches long if i use 4 inch pvc. i will account for port displacement. i am confused when calculating round ports.

well. i built it with the 2 ports 10.25 inches long. seems to be fairly good. i can always build another if someone has some input.

I'm pretty sure you are way off on the length of those ports..

Like try doubling that ...

i calculated 4 inch round in 2.5 cubes at 34 herz. 20.51. that means 10.25 per port, right? i'd like to know if i did this wrong.

Nuh.. That is 20.5" per port.. I was confused about this too, when I tried round ports.
