No one is going to be able to tell you what will be louder, or sound better, or rattle less. That is entirely vehicle dependant, so you would need to test different enclosures in different positions to find out what works best for you.

I will tell you that in my experiences, almost every sedan I have worked with the sub stage is louder when facing the rear of the trunk.

so 80 your saying to basically cut out where the arm rest would be?

im not doing the install its gonna be taken to a shop

and im guessing that would cost a lot more.

i think i need to talk with the shop guys and show them what im working with.

You would probably have to bring them plans for the enclosure, unless they are a very good shop I doubt they will know how to properly design a bandpass enclosure.
