I need help with creating a box for a 96 explorer. I have already decided to use a Transmission line box because i already have one in a 95 S-10 and it rocks with one 10" pioneer premier sub. I would have one made by the same people but it would cost over $600 for the box alone. I just need a few formulas to calculate air space and port length and area. I plan on using 4 10's or 4 12's haven't made up my mind yet. If anyone knows any formulas or programs that i could use to make this box/boxes.

Transmission line enclosures are very difficult, but well worth it. I am not positive unless you are pretty good at the math and such as far as the best place to send you for the enclosure, but I recall when I built a few getting the calculations and angles and formulas out of a book called "Loudspeaker Design Cookbook". It has a lot of good information and such on the acoustics and principles behind the design and build up. Good luck!
