Box help!! hdc3 12

I am new to this and I can't seem to get all my figures right. I am trying to build a box for a single 12 in. Hdc3 for a 4 door car.

I want to run it at 35-36 hz range from what I hear. I have found plans on different forums but none I can really use.

My maximum width is 34 in. Height is 14.5 maximum and depth 17. I also want to run bracing probably just 1 in. dowels.

Anyone's help would be greatly appreciated!!

You could do 32w x 14.5h x 17d with a 13h x 3.5w port 31" long for 2.45@36.13hz with 18.5sqin of port area. I can make you a cutsheet and sketchup when I get home if you want it. Did one similar for a guy and it turned out awesome.

You could do 32w x 14.5h x 17d with a 13h x 3.5w port 31" long for 2.45@36.13hz with 18.5sqin of port area. I can make you a cutsheet and sketchup when I get home if you want it. Did one similar for a guy and it turned out awesome.

Make sure you add a double baffle in the cutsheet.

you'd want to use the max width man, need double baffle and room for bracing/45s.

3.25 port width is more than enough tuned to 35hz. With hdc3s shoot for 16-17 port per cube, 18 begins to lose bandwidth.
