box help for 2 DD 2512

I have 2 DD 2512 in a prefab box at the moment. I need to build a new box but dont know how many cubes would be best for my daily/spl setup. I have them hooked up to a DD m3 and they will be in a 2000 gmc sonoma extended cab truck, what would be a good tuning for daily/spl all help is appreciated. I want to hit in the 145+ DB for a little bass, and then upgrade later on to something good.

At some point you have to make up your mind on what you want. Do you want to go for a certain number or daily? Most likely if you get a design and build you will do fairly well on the meter anyway, but chasing numbers requires different designs then a daily setup would.

You could do a changeable port. One tuning for SPL and the other for more of a daily sound. I don't see the point of a SPL enclosure unless you are really going to try and be competitive. If so then it is more about build....test.....build....test....repeat a few 100 times or so...lol

I think 8cuft + 120" of port might be a hard it fit in, but until you submit some meserments you'll never no

Work out what you have in the way space and how much power to drive them and built the to that

you wont want more than 3 cubes each on those 12s.

4.5-5ft^3 common chamber tuned to 35hz with 70-80in^2 of port will sound good and get decently loud on the meter.
