the manufacturer tells me the amount of cubic feet i need including sub displacement, and they say it is 1.75, for a ported box, but does that include the port displacement is what i want to know. And they say to tune this sub to 38 hz with a 3 x 6.75 inch port, does a 4 x 10.475 work instead? let me know what you think..

maybe by 3x6.75" port, they mean a 3" diameter round port 6.75"s long //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/confused.gif.e820e0216602db4765798ac39d28caa9.gif

id tune lower..say 33-35hz...

Hey, I'm having the same issue. I have the exact same subs and they rock. Does anyone have box plans for these things... I'd like around 2 cu.ft. tuned to around 32hz. They're kind of underpowered so I'd like to get the best SQL setup possible. Also might wanna invert them... the basket looks sweet.

but what i wanted to know is...the manufacturer says to use a 3"x6.75" port, how do i figure out the port area, because the box i have only has 4" ports, and i need to match the port areas up and get a length that will equal the port area of the manufacturer's...any suggestions?
