box for fi btl 18"? Help please

i have 15" Height 31" width and 27" depth to work with, ive been messing around with re box designer but cant come up with a design? I know the sub is going to have to fire upward and i dont know what to do about the port. I was thinking about tuning any way from 28hz-32hz.

I have a box concept for you:

15.75H x 30.5W x 26D = 6.48 after sub displacement

Use 3 4" aeros that are18in long for ports. It will be tuned to 28hz.

Box will be about 6.18 cu ft after aeros.

i appreciate the design, but i can not go any higher than 15" would the height difference make a big change in tuning?

No, the top is just a flush mount. you can just not flush mount it and youll be fine. Itll put u at 15" high and be the same tuning. see pic number 4.

i put those numbers in 12volt box calc and it only comes out to 5.55cuft that's if using 3/4"wood(given that it's accurate, not sure) and that's with 15"H. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/fyi.gif.9f1f679348da7204ce960cfc74bca8e0.gif with sub and port displacement would put you a little under 5 cubes. Goin with OP's requested dimms it would give him about 5.8 cubes and if using 3 4" full length (17") psp ports would tune it about 32hz. so if my calculations are correct i would stick to your dimensions you requested and go with the 3 4" ports. but you will want to double baffle it and brace it some how i.e wooden dowel rods or all thread., do 14.25H then double baffle with 3/4 and you should be fine. will put around 5cuft
