Hey all, new to this forum. But i was wondering. I just got rid of my 12'' solobarics, and i bought an other 1200.1, i'm planing on getting the new 15'' L7's. I was wondering what kind of box deminsions i should use, i want to make it a Front slot ported box, i've got pleanty of room to work with so thats not really a factor. I hit 146.3 with my 12'' i put them in a 2.3 cuft box, front slot ported. I only hit that with an AC mic. If anyone could help me on what would be best for SPL/DB that would be awesome thanks. //content.invisioncic.com/y282845/emoticons/popcorn.gif.32dd9e22fd77e77bc3c907062768fcd2.gif

Soon to be set up,

2 Kicker kx 1200.1

2 15'' dual 2 ohm solobarics

Optima yellow cap deep cycle battery

and i already have intstalled a infinity all around component system.

that equipment has the potential to be a very nice system. for SPL, the bigger the better. trust me, ive been working with solobarics for years. if you can, give them about 6 cubes each after speaker and port displacement, and port them with as much port area as you can.

good luck!

really depends on how much room you actually have and what your cars frequency is...you say you want to put up good numbers....but usually the tuning is too high for daily driving...
