Box for 4 L7s

Well ideally I would want my system to get insanely loud in the 37-50hz range but not completely fall off. Wouldn't tuning my box to 36-37hz do that for me? What kind of output would a sealed box have compared to this?

I honestly think you're not ready to do anything near this size by yourself. You're not giving them enough space, you don't have enough power, and you're a total n00bx.I feel bad for the equiptment.

I meant like in comparison to a solid ported box. I want to utilize the L7s to their ability with what I have to work with. I dunno, sorry I'm not putting this in the right words.

Aside all of our past arguments hehe....

Honestly since you listen to Jack johnson ( I love his music hehe) and music that is a little more SQ oriented, why not go for a little more of an SQL sub? Like lets say SS RL-P....

What kind of music do you primarily listen too? You can save all the hastle of beefing up your electrical to power four woofers and replace it with two high quality SQL subs. Save a little money in the long run for the front stage......or whatever comes to mind...

Then again if your looking for all out wang....Try three subs instead of four and give them the space they want....

they're EBP is 52 with a QTS of .56
yup, sealed box woofer.
Really? I was always under the impression that L5/7s perform best in vented boxes. I have no way of telling how by the parameters of the woofer, since i have no prior knowledge in that area...
Care to provide a link on how to tell whether a woofer likes vented/sealed/IB etc? Im very interested in learning....Maybe I just **** at searching hehe....

I can get L7s for very very very cheap. So that's why I'm going to get them. I want to get 4 because I know i'd like 2 at first, but then I'd want it to get louder. With 4 12" L7s, I know that would be too much, so I'd be satisfied. If I wanted to show it off I could to my friends, and if I wanted to just chill to them, I could. But for the price, I can get them rediculously cheap and that appeals greatly to me.

I just thought.... if my top piece is 26" X 38", will 2 L7s be able to fit next to each other on the top? Their surrounds may be touching, I dunno how much wood I need in between each subwoofer for stability reasons.
